Profile

Born in a countryside of Japan, I grew up feeling squeezed into a box labelled “be the same as others.” Frustrated with my inconfidence to express myself and confused about who actually I was, I went abroad after high school in search of the outside world where I can find my true self.

 

Since then, I lived in many parts of the world including the U.S. (Oregon, Massachusetts, New York), China, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Malawi and Nepal.

Before becoming a coach, I dedicated myself to the international development sector for over 10 years, working with the United Nations and international NGOs. I felt pride and passion in the work of international development, and enjoyed building trust and deep relationships with people from different cultural backgrounds, and contributing to the development of the communities where I worked.

I saw my life priorities shift when I had my children, and decided to change my career to pursue what is truly meaningful and fulfilling, and became a professional coach. I currently live in Nepal with my family and provides coaching sessions while raising my kids.

My experiences of living and working in diverse contexts makes my coaching approach unique, enabling me to connect deeply with people from various social and cultural backgrounds. My strengths as a coach include having a global mindset, being free of biases and judgement, my creative and spiritual approaches, and nurturing clients’ desire to make meaningful impact on people and society around them.
